Modern society and technology has paved the way for constant insecurities - be it physical attractiveness, wealth or any other characteristic or trait that is used to judge and categorize. This has led to a habitual activity that has almost become an epidemic - the act of wallowing in deep thought, digging deeper into our anxieties.
One may think deep thought allows us the time for self-reflection, to address those deep rooted anxieties and to find answers - but more often than not, this leads to further anxieties, trapping us in a constant loop of self-examination; trapped IN THE DEPTHS OF THOUGHT.
Sometimes, acceptance is the best option - to be satisfied and happy with who you are; to accept your faults and to adapt.

IN THE DEPTHS OF THOUGHT is a part of the STILL MOTION series of works; experimentations in organic geometry and materials using procedural generation in combination with 3D modeling.
The work uses rotoscoping animation techniques in combination with the 3D modeling and procedural geometry, resulting in stunningly unique and cinematic visuals. The animation was edited with multiple cuts and additional post-production effects to facilitate storytelling elements.
Complimenting the arresting visual effects, is an industrial electronic track featuring oversampled beats and synthesizers.
The key takeaway here is… cinematic intensity.
