2 OF 2
“I expected the two figures to rotate and fill in each other's imperfections, but that did not happen.”
When observing this piece, you can see the complete form only from the profile. I was able to think of a few things about humans.
First, the two figures rotate, forming a decalcomania like pattern, so they are the same self.
1. I expected the two figures to rotate and fill in each other's imperfections, but that did not happen. Despite confirming that, I kept learning to see the two decalcomanias completely merge to form a single figure; This is a representation of the human essence, always expecting and waiting for perfection, but never actually reaching it.
2. The appearance of being perfect only when we face each other (myself).
3. Even though it is the same object, it is clearly different depending on which point you are looking at.
