The eleventh KLAYRock : EXPERIMENTS collection is a commentary on the perils of modern life - how we as individuals, must need to adapt to an ever-changing world at a breakneck pace in order to survive and belong.
Society and our need to belong are themes we frequently explore in our art and this continues in our Modern Life collection.
Life isn’t easy, but modern life in the 21st century has reached a point where millions of individuals are left behind due to their inability to adapt or accept change. With the continued integration of technology into our daily routines, we are often faced with scenarios where we lack the knowledge or experience to deal with what’s before us.
We ponder, we explore, we discuss, we act… and often we’re still left exhausted and in a state of confusion; fighting with one’s self to maintain sanity and a sense of security.

The MODERN LIFE collection is an abstract digital sculpture exploring the perils of living modern life; we’re often forced to think, discuss, act as individuals, independently - leaving a lot of us without psychological or physical support; this is why sometimes, we just need to unplug, reprioritize and cut out all the unnecessary noise.
MODERN LIFE #1 - is a hand modeled, motion digital sculpture - utilizing procedural animation designed to convey a sense of organic fluidity. The combination of porcelain materials and bright colors is in contrast to the exhaustion shown by the abstract figures. This video edition also combines minimal abstract electronica to compliment and emphasize the organic fluidity of the animation.
MODERN LIFE #2 & #3 are still image shots that best capture the essence of the Modern Life digital sculpture; the combination of porcelain materials, bright colors and abstract forms work together to convey a sense of ethereal beauty and mystery.
