The nineteenth KLAYRock : EXPERIMENTS collection - INTERPRETATIONS, consists of 5 unique pieces as commissioned by The Rock’ers Society exclusively for the INTERPRETING KLAYRock : EXPERIMENTS exhibition.
In line with the overarching themes of the exhibition, INTERPRETATIONS is a visual essay depicting the very stages of artistic interpretation; A complex amalgamation of exploration, reflection, artistry and creation.

The INTERPRETATIONS collection consists of 5 digital paintings combining a wide facet of techniques - from 3D modeling, digital painting and composition to fractal generation.
At the very center of the piece we have the artist - an individual who has chosen to dedicate his life to the pursuit of creativity and imagination. To the artist, the act of interpretation is a complex process involving a multitude of facets; pulling from the depths of his imagination and influences, while undertaking the various stages of interpretation - EXPLORATION, REFLECTION, ARTISTRY and CREATION.
Edition #01 represents the final result of this process, while Editions #02-#05 depict each stage via intricately detailed fractal backgrounds. Each background carries with it secret references, each fractal generated by combining some of the greatest works of post-modern art - from Basquiat, Warhol to Banksy.
Owning an Interpretations edition is owning a core trait of what makes an individual an artist.
